This is my first dictionary...!!! I'm so excited..yet confused how to arrange the words alphabetically, so it's rather un-alphabetically...nevermind. This post is dedicated to my fellow comrades who are facing biology exam.
1. Enzyme : A kind of protein in our body as catalyst
2. Substrat : substances reacted by help of catalyst
3. Intracellular enzyme : enzyme works inside cells
4. Extracellular enzyme : enzyme extracted out from the cells to do its work
5. Apoenzyme : protein components which form enzyme
6. Cofactor : non-protein components in enzyme
7. Active side : A side of enzyme in which substrat being reacted there
8. Denaturation : destroyed active side of enzyme which makes it useless
9. Renaturation : healing process for a few denaturated enzyme
10. Activator : molecule which help enzyme to unite with substrat
12. Inhibitor : molecule which hamper enzyme to unite with the substrat
13. Metabolism : a series of reaction to create product from substrat
14. Katabolism : reactions which start from big molecules and ends with small molecules
15. Anabolism : reactions which start from small molecules and ends with big molecules
16. ATP : Adenosin Triphospate, source of energy
17. Aerob Respiration : Respiration that need oxygen as backup for electrons
18. Anaerob respiration : Respiration that need no oxygen (fermentation)
19. Fotosynthesis : The using of light to form simple carbohidrate from carbondioxide and water
20. Chloroplas : an organ of leaf where fotosynthesis occurs
21. Stroma : Empty space in Chloroplas where glucose is formed from carbondioxide and water
22. Photosystem : a bunch of hundreds of fotosynthesis pigments used to catch light
23. Photolysis : a reaction which separate water to oxygen, hydrogen and electrons
24. RuBP : Ribulosa Biphosphate, 5-carbon molecule which is used to tie carbondioxide
25. Kemosynthesis : Anabolism using chemical reaction as its source of energy
