Get Rid of Cold

Catching a cold is everyone's problem. A cure for cold isn't possible right now, but with simple treatment to yourself, you'll get well soon. This post is about treating cold with just small amount of medicine.

Important things you should do when you catch cold:

1. Know the Symptoms

The symptoms of cold can be easily recognize. If your nose does a hard effort to breath, or you aren't feeling well, or experiencing a small headache, you may catch a cold. Another symptom is when you're feeling strangely cold in an Air Conditioned room.

2. Take a Longer Rest

When you catch cold, your body feels weak and unable to think clearly. So, you'll need more rest than usual. Maybe add 2 more hours on your bedtime. By sleeping earlier, your body will recover more.

3. Tea is The Best Against Flu

We're lucky humans had found tea hundreds of years ago. Tea is very useful for your body because of its warmth and relaxing feelings. Drink 1 cup of hot tea everyday should make you feel better and feel more conscious.

4. Get some Heat

What I mean is you should increase your body temperature. I think this is recommended for all people catching cold. Cold is usually followed by fever, so in order to get rid of the fever, go get sweated!! Exercising or drinking hot drinks will increase your body temperature and makes you sweat more. More sweat comes out means more heat released from your body. Thus, it will get rid of the fever.

5. Make Your Nose Easier to Breath

The implication isn't by making your nose hole bigger. When you catch cold, usually you'll find it very hard to breath. It's because one of your nose holes is blocked by a pile of frozen mucus that disables you from breathing easily. You can make your nose easier to breath by crushing the pile. That could be done by many ways :
a. Generate some heat. You can only crush the pile of mucus by using heat. You could drink hot tea or use nose drop to melt the stacked mucus.
b. Exercise will also generate some heat to your body.
c. use blanket when you're sleeping in air conditioned room
d. Taking a sauna will probably solve the problem.

Writer's Experience :
I'm writing this post after I recovered from 3-days cold without any medicine. Believe me that cold doesn't have a cure, but the best cure for cold is a rest and tea.

Important Notes
- Exercise will be effective when you feel a bit better or you had gain some strength
- Sleep Blanketless will only make your mucus freeze faster and harder to crush, it makes you harder to breath in the morning
- At the third day of my flu, I slept 2.5 hours longer and woke up with great shape!!
- Nose drop is an acid liquid that capable of melting frozen mucus

From The Deepest of Art

We often seen art, but do we know the history?? I myself don't, so I started to get interested with one of the ways of arts that attracts me most. It's called Graffiti.
The history of Grafitti wasn't always good. In fact, It used to be considered as "Un-Art-hy" (copying Unearthy), act of rebellion, and just a useless work. But nowadays, Grafitti is respected, websites are full of them, and the boring walls started to be filled with Grafitti spray

We can see many Grafitti touch in the walls, subways, or anything empty and vertically positioned, even there are chocolate bars with Grafitti drawn on the wrapper. The names or slogans made by Grafitti can tell much such as politics, social, or anything. Those cool names are used to be punishable by a fine in 1970s, but today, you can find them anywhere.

Grafitti is also a spot for business now. Many Grafitti artists earn a lot by making grafitti, for example : Kel Rodriguez, who used to spray New York subways, is chosen to design the Wall Street Journal's website with his Grafitti touch. That was of course along with high payment. Another example is Lee Quinones, who could earn $10.000 per paintings.

This way of art comes popular along with the hip-hop music. Hip-hop music goes to the top of American music charts bringing the art of Grafitti.

Well. humans have found a way to express their feelings and also a bonus to improve the beauty of the city. That is by Grafitti.

Weird People in Their Weird Situation

I found 2 cases which I didn't believe at first. It's so strange and proove us that there are still some people lack of education who could do anything beyond our imagination. Here are 2 cases.

First case : A MAN IS TRYING TO JUMP OFF FROM THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING.

It happened on Christmas Eve. The man was Jason Hosen, a young unsuccessful artist. He was desperately broke and decided to commit suicide by jumping from 86th floor of Empire State building. Fortunately, the wind was so strong that it prevented him from falling down and threw him to the window of 85th floor. Since then, several people had offered him to stay for chirstmas.

Second Case : PARALYZED BECAUSE OF FLU.

This extreme case happened in rural Suffolk, village of Nacton. The paralyzed one was Mrs. Ada Teppit. She has been in bed for almost 40 years. A doctor investigated her and he was amazed by her past time. 40 years ago, a village doctor told Mrs. Teppit, who caught Infuenza at that time, to stay in bed until the doctor returned. But, Unfortunately, the doctor had never returned. Her daughter, Norma, had been looking after her mother for 40 years, without any marriages or jobs.

Strange people, don't you think...???

The Wrath Of Tourism

Tourism is said to be one of many countries highest national income, but does it always good? No, I don't think so. Money still came, but the worries are the destruction and uncaring touch of tourism towards many tourism sites.

Here are many examples of the ruined Excitement Place :

1. The ruins of Petra in Jordan have been home to the name carvings. Tourists from all countries visit and go from this site, leaving special signature as a mmemory. This way makes Petra getting worse.

2. The Mediterranean shores is supa-crowded nowadays. With the population of 130 million that increase each year. This make The Mediteranean sea the dirtiest sea in the world

3. All mountains in the Alps region have been wired up by cable cars. No mountains left

4. If you want to go rafting down the Grand Canyon's Colorado River, there's an 8-year waiting list because of the huge number of travelers willing to go rafting

5. In NotreDame, 108 visitors each minute enter during opening hours and more than 30 buses crawling on the streets of NotreDame

6. In 1987, Venice had to be closed because of the great crowds entering the city.

7. Tourists in Barbados and Hawaii use 10 times more water and electricity than the local inhabitant. Besides its unfair situation, Tourism turns to be one of their biggest economy gain.

8. A replica of Lascaux's prehistorical cave paintings in France was made due to the destruction caused by tourists.

So, Tourisms can increase national income, but behind its high income, there lurks hands of irresponsibles waiting to visit

Secrets Of The Northern Freezing Field

What I mean by the above title is Antarctica. Some of you will say it's just a plain desert of ice filled with penguins and nothing but glaciers. It's more than that. Antarctica has been awarded by being the coldest, highest, driest, and other -est awards (^_^).

What makes it special ??

1. More than 95% of Antarctica is covered in ice. Not only just ice, but pure ice and snow and also it contains 90% of world's fresh water. It's because of the isolation of the world activities, making it untouchable by pollution.

2. You'll find the coldest place on earth in Antarctica. The lowest temperature record is reached in Antarctica (-88.3 celcius degrees) in 1960

3. No rain ever hits Antarctica since the end of Pleistocene Age, about 1.000.000 years ago. Therefore, it can be classified as true desert.

4. Little found about the types of animals of plants there. Penguins must be the only land creatures in Antarctica, with the population over 12 million. Only 2 species of flowering plants were found and logically no flying insects.

5. Beautiful skies directly pointed to space, and unpredictably site location of meteoric samples.

There are still many more sites and mysteries in Antarctica that need to be solved.

Old-to-Modern Communication Style

People had tried to communicate since the prehistoric age. Before people knew language or even writings, people communicate to others by many chance necessary. Here's a few way to communicate in ancient times.

1. Smoke signals. This way of communicating is famous in North America and China hundreds of years ago. This was made by putting a fire on the blanket. A "pro" can manage the size of smoke and even the colours, making it easy to differentiate messages sent. Smoke signals often used for sending simple messages.
Pros : It can be seen from long distances
Cons : There's no way people will talk about their secrets using smokes

2. Drums. Informations can also be sent by sounds, as the people in West Africa used it. Messages told from the sound of drums are various and complicated. This way of communicating was also being used by slaves to send secret codes.
Pros : High frequency makes it can be heard 8 kilometres away.
Cons : It's hard for people who don't know to understand.

3. Whistle. This one is very rare. This way of communicating had been used by people on the Canary Island of La Gomera. People used to keep in touch to people on the hill or valleys. Whistles are capable of sending 4000 different words!
Pros : Effective way of calling your wife or someone in the crowd
Cons : It's secretless...

While people nowadays using many medias to communicates, animals also have their own way to communicate to each other.

1. One way that animals do to communicate by using their sense of smelling. Some animals such as ants, bees, etc. produce chemical substances called pheromones. This substance can be in their urine, or spreading from their body. Bees also use movements instead of pheromones and Ants lead their packs to the food source using food trail pheromones

2. Like us humans, animals such as birds and frogs communicate with sounds. Male frogs send 2 parts of messages. The first one is a warning and can only be heard by other male frogs, and the other is a mating call for the female ones.

3. Whales, bats, and elephants communicate with sounds that we can't hear. The frequency of their sounds are usually below 20Hz or above 20.000Hz. Their sounds produce waves that travels from ground, water, or air. Elephants probably receive signals from their trunks or feet.

Dog From Hell

I'll share ya guys about an animal. Not just an animal. Mythical beast, you might think. Well, it's true. I got this info from trusted sources. It's called hellhound, dog from hell.

HellHound is not just ordinary dog. Many people tell stories about a phantom dog with red eyes and razor-sharp teeth lurking around quiet and haunted places such as cemetry and other places. I absolutely believe that readers will think it's dangerous. Well, victims have fallen because of this hell dog. Witnesses report of 3 dead bodies with no flesh, just bones.

Legends told that if you see this phantom dog 3 times, you'll meet untimed death. This has been proved. one tape shows 5 teenagers, obssesed with black magics, tried to proove the mysteries of this phantom dog. After some kind of ritual, all of them were dead due to car accident after seeing the phantom dog 3 times. However, a teenage girl was survived. It appeared that she played the main role of the ritual.

Not just this tape which I showed you, but also many witnesses found out this mythical and hellish dog. In Kentucky, people heard howling of many dogs with yellow eyes every night. These were all come from ancient belief which told us that dogs were used or symbolized to be the messenger between life and death. The famous hellhound is from the greek mythology. It was called Cerberus, a 3-headed dog, who guards the gate of the dead so no one can passed their destiny towards death.

Another myth told that this HellHound also possessed fire abilities and follows people in the dark silently and leaving no footprints.
Scary, but interesting...

Mysteries Of Universe

Have you ever wonder about being the only living form in the universe?? I would like to share my readings with ya all. There are many facts and mysteries about these things, such as aliens, about how old the universe is... Although the answer is "no one knows", we can see and take conclusion of any experiments researching this.

Question 1 : Are we alone in this Universe ??

This alien-thingy problems or other life form beside human have triggered many researches since UFO's first sightings in 1897 in Texas. Scientists have predicted that there will be more life forms than us and they also have discovered a planet which are able to support life 50 light-years away. However, don't you think that aliens should come to us instead of us reaching them???

Question 2 : Where do oceans come from ??

Oceans have covered 2/3 our earth, but no one really knows where do they come from.
Not many myths disscussed it. The one possible theory is from the comets and asteroids which hit our earth. They were frozen vapour and dust which are rich of water and everytime they hit, they form our ocean.

Question 3 : How old is our universe ??

Latest research which predicted the age of universe suggest 9-12 billion years ago. Big Bang theory, the famous theory of universe making, make space, time and also matters from stars explosion. We can conclude that before Big Bang, there was nothing.

Question 4 : Does nature allow time travel ???

Time travelling is one hell of a problem that scientists have been facing. Time machine allows us to move into past or future, but there are 2 facts.
First fact, It's impossible. Law of nature have prevented us to time travel and also another scary-like facts, such as killing your mother before she gave birth to you. It seems illogical.
Second fact, It's still a minute percentage of success. Maybe, there are still a barrier to time travel. Who knows..???

Last Question : How will the universe end ???

Maybe, it's still too long for us of thinking that. One thing for sure, we'll die first before the universe, but who knows. Our lives on earth depend on how long the sun will survive. Many scientist predicted when the warmth and light of sun have ended, then there won't be any of us survived. Things like cosmos or other matters in space which decide the age of galaxy are complicated things for our brains to calculate it. Conclusion : no one know.

Swarm Of Dust in Australia

This event occured unusually. As reported from Sydney, Australia, 5 milion tons of dust have covered Sydney. This was caused by a strong wind which flies tons of dust from the land of Queensland and New South Wales. Until yesterday, the fog of dust has reached the southern part of Queensland.

This fog definitely be a problem for the citizens. Ambulance provider in Sydney reported emergency state for 200 people who get breathing problem due to the dust. the quality of air in New South Wales has also reached dangerous level that could be risky for women, children, and eders.

Strong winds which causing this fog of dust are created by wierd cold temperature in South Wales that it also caused fire in New South Wales. So, it's dust, wind and fire in one place. This disaster was proven to be the worst disaster happened in Australia in the last 70 years

Eccentric Way Of Life

Eccentric is a case where people mistaken it as crazy, nuts, and other stuff which would be in a state of abnormal. However, eccentric isn't the same as crazy. They differentiate with what they are thinking and their objective. I would say that eccentric is way much better than being crazy.

Eccentrician, What are they like ?

Eccentric people (eccentrician) are people with a behaviour that people dislike. They usually can't cooperate with others, can't build up good relationship among people, and tend to separate from other people. In their minds, they are way ahead from other people and they think people are crazy, not them. Eccentricians are also related to their unusual activities that people might consider them as nuts. Many divorces and separations happen in their life.

So eccentrician is BAD????

Eccentric isn't as threatening as people think it is. In fact, some scientists believe eccentric is one way to healthy life. Eccentricians are people who always wanna know something and try anything they think it's fun, plus with their unusual action, they make it more exciting. Eccentricians always have goals in their life, which is the recipe of happiness. Although they don't mix with other people, they don't feel lonely. Only thing that they can communicate might be with animals.

So, eccentric is different from crazy. While crazy actions are causing trouble unhealthyly and not necessarily, eccentric cause trouble for being healthy and fun.

Arts of Mental Disease : Shizropenia

This disease isn't too popular among any diseases and also it doesn't occur often. But, this mental disease caught up my attention when I read an article about it. Well, according to my research, It's a mental disorder.

Shizropenia is one of many mental diseases. More common than any mental illnesses, I should say. Shizropenia is derivated from the words "splitting of mind". Shizropenic (people who's infected with shizropenia) suffers their mind very much. They tend to hear voices in their minds, also voices from famous people. They have bad relationship with families and tend to follow the voices they hear in their minds.
I don't know if shizropenic is somehow related to eccentric

The cause of this disease still remains unknown. Scientists believe that parents genotype play a role in the onset of shizropenia. Another research shows neurotransmitters, chemical substances in our brains, are in abnormal levels.

Healing methods such as psychotherapy might cure this illness.

Fixing Frozen Taskbar and Icons (again)

My last post about freezing taskbar and icons seems did nothing better. the problem kept appear everytime I boot my computer. So, I've figured out how to fix this problem. Know that this is for non-antivirus user and still left a little problem

Firstly, Start your computer. if the taskbar and desktop icons still freeze, don't try to restart your computer, as it'll do no good.

Secondly, go to task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and open the Processes Tab. There, you'll see many .exe files running. search for explorer.exe and click end process.

Thirdly, your desktop will be out of icons and taskbar but leaves the task manager running. Then, click files in the task manager, then new task. type explorer and enter.

Fourthly, your taskbar and icons will respond again. (hooray....)

What I say about a little problems is that it doesn't last forever. You still get the problem everytime you boot and you have to do the process above.

For antivirus user, better scan for viruses. Most likely it's a virus.

Freezing Taskbar And Icons

This problem appears just after I finished posting my blog. When I restarted my computer, it worked fine. I mean, the booting process were quite fast which I hadn't recognize it until The windows start. I waited a minute for the completion of booting process, then I tried to click the start button on the taskbar and it didn't work. Just showing the sandclock cursor status if I move the cursor across the taskbar.

I restarted my computer again, hoping the problem would go away itself and nothing happened. It kept frozen. However, now I've found the solution to this annoying problems.

There are 2 things you can do :
1. Format your computer. This hard, but effective way can fix this problem. (I've formatted my computer and after I installed some programs, the problem comes again.)
2. According to Option 1, I concludes it's virus or some programs installed in my computer. So, run windows in safe mode, click start (It should work in safe mode), then all programs, accesories, system restore.\
3. Restore your computer at anytime before this problem came up. It worked in my computer. The risk is you'll lose any programs installed or downloaded to your computer in range of restoring time.

Many can cause this problem. people found out that it were viruses, or some unresponding config files. Don't know for sure

2. Substrat : substances reacted by help of catalyst
3. Intracellular enzyme : enzyme works inside cells
4. Extracellular enzyme : enzyme extracted out from the cells to do its work

6. Cofactor : non-protein components in enzyme
7. Active side : A side of enzyme in which substrat being reacted there
8. Denaturation : destroyed active side of enzyme which makes it useless

A Disastrous Sweet 17 Party

This post is for my friend who joined Teresha's sweet 17 birthday. Lots of fun going on, but I think this trauma-making party has been a great party. Here are the photos of victims.

Never know that a sweet 17 birthday party could turn 3 men to 3 women. I doubt pros who make them up. These 3 sissies were caught by a sissy by wrong answers. Maybe it's their destiny to become sissies. Aren't they cute and lovable???

Whoa, this creepy creature seems adapting with us humans. Check out his style..!!! so.....GROSS!!! I hope his alien friends could find him.

These sissies were trying to dance when we laughed out loud till I couldn't laugh anymore. Not much of quality, but you can see the giant ass of this unknown creature shaking around.

Know People From Their Handwriting

As I was walking through a bookstore, There was a seminary. I went in the bookstore and heard the speaker speaking her materials. The material was quite interesting and I kept listening her describing her materials. That's what I will share today.

It's about handwriting. From handwriting, we can recognize anybody's charater, behaviour, feelings, and problems they are facing. This technique was one of ways of psychology in human behaviour. Handwriting analyzing has been used from a long time ago. In Germany, when Nazi was still a total controller of the nation, Leaders of many countries, parties use Hitler's handwriting to find his weakness. Don't know if it worked or not. Beside in German, The technique of handwrting was used in CIA, FBI, and other intels.

Facts About Dreams

There are many facts about dreams. Dream is a place where we can be whatever we want do whatever we desire. Nowadays, people consider dream is related to our "unconscious mind". Our mind in this state is greater than our mind when we wake up. People often don't want to wake up or even shocked in the night and might get briliant ideas just because of dreams.

The facts about dreams :
1. Blind people dream sightless. They don't see, but they dream about feelings, emotions, and sounds.
2. After getting up for about 5 minutes, you'll forget 50% of your dreams. The next five minutes will be almost totally blank for you.
3. Everyone dream in their sleep, except for several serious illness
4. People often woken up while enjoying their dreams have bad temper, halucination, and also cause some emotional disturbance.
5. While dreaming, your body can't follow your dream. If you are chased by riot in your dream, your body won't follow your movement in your dream. This is caused of electric impulses were not transferred to our brain, but to our spine.
6. Babies don't dream about themselves until they are three. Between the ages of 3 to 8, they have nightmares more often than adults. That explain why babies often cries the moment after they wake up.

So, you see that dreams occur when we enter our unconscious mind in our sleep. Brain never run out of dreams because research prove that brain has outstanding memory to record everything we sense.

Earthquaking Trouble

A single earthquake had just happened at my place yesterday. I was changing my clothes when this disaster happened. Luckily, it was just a small, but annoying earthquake. I felt dizzy at the moment and just realized that the ground was shaking, so I concluded it was an earthquake.

Me and my family ran out of our house, followed by neighbours and people around us. The earthquake occured about one and a half minute. We were hoping it won't get any stronger than this. Thank god, it stopped.

A few minutes after the earthquake, a news appeared on my TV telling that the center of the earthquake is about 140km from my place. "phew", I relieved. It was far, but the effects hit through us far away from the center of the earthquake. The next minute, breaking news on TV reported that it was 7.3 Ritcher-scale Earthquake.

I shocked, but also felt sympathy to all people living at the center of the earthquake. 7.3 Ritcher-scale earthquake will surely damage buildings and even bring them down. Tomorrow, I read from newspaper which informed readers about the survivor of the earthquake. It told not only earthquake, but also landslide breaking the ground, burying people inside it.

Never have thought in my head that an earthquake will occured today. No one wants it, but only God who can create the impossible and outhinking

Jihad Isn't Always A Threat

Many consider Jihad as people who gone war for the sake of their religion or we can say too much ultranasionalism on their religion. But, the real thing isn't like that. War may be part of their duty, but they also have rules.

What Is It Really ???

Jihad, as I read from Wikipedia, is a duty to preserve Allah Din with ways exampled from Al-Quran. What they are doing is teaching people to leave all worldly desire and come back to Allah.

Jihad is applied not from ourselves, but also to evaryone close to us. It means we and anyone close work and learn together in preserving Jihad.

Is It Related To War ???

War, as I say, is part of their duty. But war in this case is fighting against our self-arrogant. Many people misunderstood these and as a result, People doing Jihad is susceptible with slander and lies. Real war only conducted if someone or a group betrays and not obeying rules. Jihad is not like terrorism.

Speaking about war, There are some rules in islamic wars. Several of the rules are :
1. No betraying
2. No slashing or cutting dead bodies
3. Never kill children, handicapped people, women
4. Burning forest isn't allowed
5. Many more rules...

So, Jihad is actually a sacred duty, but people misdefine it as people who always going to war.

Movie Of The Year : G.I Joe

First time watching this movie, they stole my attention fully. The makers of "The Mummy" sure have ways of ideas to pull people and of course, money. G.I Joe : Rise Of Cobra were played by various famous actors and actress.

The movie is about a greater-than-nuclear weapon called Nanobites created by corporation called MARS. Revenge bestowed from ancestors between France and England resulted to be a fight to obtain Nanobites. 2 special organization representing both nations called G.I Joe and MARS. The story is getting hotter this time.

The movie with 2 hours duration certainly showed great computer effects, stunning actions, modern technology packed compeletly. But, shamely, Brendan Fraser just got a very small role in this movie.

This movie is a-must, I say.

Blind Man Driving Cars Like Pro

University of Maryland, United States gives great contribution especially for Blind man in US. At the second of August, There were 20 blind people driving cars throughout the parking lot of Maryland University.

I'm starting to think there would be crashes or sounds of explosions. But not at all. These blind people drive the cars just the way we do. If we see from a distance, you wouldn't believe they were blind.

This great donation was originally from the order of National Federation for implementing one of the Federal Nation Program, that is to develop a vehicle for blind people. 200 participants in this event also consider this as summer event.

The cars that the blinds were driving weren't common cars. The vehicles have special devices attached to lead the blind driving. First, they add a laser sensor to detect and organzie the route. Secondly, they also add a kind of shaking device useful for turnings. Thirdly, the sound device capable of giving the right time to turn and other orders.

At least, we won't be worrying anymore for the blinds, thanks to Maryland University

Obama Still Face Skin Colour Problem

Barrack Obama has been the president of United States, but the "Left Wing" of the government still dislike him and thinks that Obama will never solve all problems caused by former president. Despite of being treated badly, Obama hasn't give up yet.

Many of Obama's policies get no green light from the government itself. The main thing that concerns them is because of Obama's black skin and his origin, Africa. They can't accept being ruled by black people.

I read this news and thought how slow that human minds solve these skin colour problems. Although this problems happened a long time ago, We still find this problem rising up again. No one must concern about this skin colour problem.

I hope that Obama can find his way to make the government realize that skin colour is something silly to debate...

How To Treat Twisted Knee ???

This is my first post. I'd like to tell you about what's its like to have twisted knee. for anyone who have never experianced twisted knee before, A twisted knee is when your ligament were torn apart from patella and causing it to move from it's former position. As a result, a big blemish appear at the side of your knee.

Overacting Exercise, Sudden turn on the knee can cause twisted knee

It was very painful and making you unable to walk properly for several weeks. So, to treat this twisted-knee-thingy, you should :
1. When you twist your knee, carefully return the patella to its former places
2. Use any knee holder to hold the patella from moving again.
3. Don't try to stand up or straighten your leg as it can twist again !!
4. ask help to take you to the nearest hospital. Do the rontgen!!
5. This is the scary part!! If the Ligament were torn badly, the doctor might ask for an operation sewing your patella to the ligament. But, it's seldom. So, usually, it's okay and you may go home
6. You aren't able to WALK yet!!! Use walking stick or anything to support your walk. remember! NO EXERCISING!!!
7. You can use any painkillers to withstand the pain.
8. As time goes by, try to train your leg to walk properly
9. More or less one and a half month later, you can walk or exercise...
